Unfortunately we have found a couple of errors in the recent 10 simple projects for cosy babies publication. We are so sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
Shape armhole and front neck
Next row: Cast off 3 [3:3:3:4] stitches, purl to end. 22 [23:24:25:25] stitches.
Next row: K2, slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over, knit to last 4 stitches, knit 2 together, knit 2. 20 [21:22:23:23] stitches.
Work 1 row.
Repeat the last 2 rows 1 [1:1:2:2] times. 18 [19:20:19:19] stitches.
Next row: Knit 2, slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over, knit to end.
This row sets neck decreasing.
Tension should read 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm/4in measured over stocking stitch on 4mm (US 6) needles.
Change to 4mm needles and continue as follows:-
Row 1: Knit 3, yarn forward, slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over, knit to end.
Row 2: Purl.
These 2 rows set front edge and stocking stitch.
Beginning with a knit row, work in stocking stitch (1 row knit, 1 row purl) until work meas 22 [23:25:27:28]cm/81/2[9:10:101/2:11]in, ending with a PURL row.
Work as given for left slipper to start of upper section.
Next row: Increase 1 stitch at beg of row. 6  stitches.
Knit 1 row.
Repeat these 2 rows twice. 8  stitches.
Complete as given for left slipper.
